FBA Toolkit: The Budget-Friendly Software for Amazon Sellers
With countless Amazon software tools on the market, it’s hard to test them all.
Luckily, we’re here to help by reviewing another popular option—FBA Toolkit. This tool primarily caters to Amazon sellers engaged in online arbitrage.
Although there’s a plethora of software designed for Amazon sellers, not all of them are good, and some are downright disappointing. That said, everyone has their own preferences, so I’ll do my best to provide an honest and impartial review of FBA Toolkit. By the end, you’ll have a clearer idea of whether it’s worth the investment for your Amazon business.
Who is FBA Toolkit for?

FBA Toolkit is a suite of tools created for Amazon FBA sellers. It helps analyze sales data and monitor products on the Amazon marketplace.
The software’s features are tailored to assist sellers in making informed decisions about inventory sourcing and product pricing.
While it’s simple and straightforward—qualities I appreciate in a tool—the real question is whether FBA Toolkit offers enough value for its price. Let’s delve into its core features so you can determine if it’s worth your time and money.
FBA Toolkit Features
FBA Toolkit is relatively uncomplicated, offering three main features designed for Amazon FBA sellers:
1. Sales Rank Estimation

The Sales Rank Estimation tool is available for free and doesn’t even require a login. On the homepage, you’ll find graphs for 21 Amazon categories, each with an input field below.
Enter a sales rank into one of these fields, and the tool will estimate the daily sales volume for that category. The graphs are interactive—hovering over them reveals detailed sales data for specific ranks.
Note that this free feature only supports the Amazon US marketplace. Access to additional marketplaces requires a paid subscription, which we’ll discuss later.
2. Price List Analysis

The Price List Analysis feature allows you to upload a spreadsheet containing product details like ASIN, UPC, or EAN. FBA Toolkit then generates a report with key metrics such as current offers, estimated sales rate, profit, and markup.
However, this feature is only available with a paid plan.
3. Product Tracker

The Product Tracker monitors product data such as price, stock levels, and sales for all sellers of a specific product.
To track a product, you simply input the ASIN into the homepage field. If the product isn’t already being tracked, you can add it manually. Bulk tracking is also possible by uploading a list via the “My Tracked Products” tab.

How to Estimate Product Sales Using FBA Toolkit?
Here’s a quick guide to estimating a product’s sales on Amazon using FBA Toolkit’s free tool:
Step 1: Find the Product’s BSR on Amazon

Locate the product’s Best Seller Rank (BSR) under the product information section on Amazon. Copy the relevant BSR for its category.
Step 2: Input the BSR into the Graph on FBA Toolkit

Navigate to the FBA Toolkit homepage and find the graph corresponding to the product’s category. Enter the BSR into the input field below the graph.
For instance, a baby stroller we researched showed an estimated sales rate of over 20 units per day for the past 30 days. However, keep in mind that this data is limited to the Amazon US marketplace unless you opt for a paid plan.
FBA Toolkit Mobile App

Although I don’t do much retail arbitrage these days, I always keep a seller scanner app handy for impromptu deals when shopping with my wife.
I tested the FBA Toolkit mobile app at home with a few products. While it works, the app is frustratingly slow at times, which defeats the purpose of a seller scanner app.
Another downside is the inability to input cost prices—a critical feature for any scanner, in my opinion. For these reasons, I’d recommend using the free Amazon Seller app or upgrading to a tool like SellerAmp if you’re serious about retail arbitrage.
FBA Toolkit Pricing

At first glance, you might think FBA Toolkit’s pricing would be straightforward, but it’s more complex than expected.
The Sales Rank Estimation tool is free, but all other features require a paid subscription.
The entry-level “Scouter” plan costs just $5 per month and includes:
- Tracking up to 10 products
- Analyzing 100 price list rows per day
- Scanning 100 barcodes per day
The Scouter plan even offers the first month for free.
As you move to higher-priced plans like the Enterprise ($500/month) or Elite ($1,000/month), the feature limits expand significantly. These plans provide additional data, such as:
- Average, minimum, and maximum Buy Box prices
- Merchant/seller sales volumes
Additionally, only these higher plans allow access to marketplaces outside the US.
FBA Toolkit Alternatives
If you’ve been following my reviews, you’ll know there are a few Amazon tools I consider essential. Here are my top alternatives to FBA Toolkit:
- Keepa
Keepa is the ultimate tool for tracking Amazon product price history. For around $20 USD per month, it offers detailed price graphs and the ability to track a far greater number of products than FBA Toolkit. - Tactical Arbitrage
Tactical Arbitrage is a powerful online arbitrage tool with features like “Always Be Scanning,” which scans the web for deals while you sleep. You can also upload supplier lists to find the best deals online. - SellerAmp
For a reliable Amazon seller scanner app, consider SellerAmp. It combines a web app, Chrome extension, and mobile scanner in one package.
Pros and Cons of FBA Toolkit
Pros:
- Free BSR daily sales estimate graphs
- Affordable entry-level pricing at $5/month
Cons:
- Expensive for the features offered at higher-tier plans
- No free trials for premium plans
- Slow and limited mobile app
Final Verdict on FBA Toolkit
If I had to sum up FBA Toolkit in one word, it would be “underwhelming.”
While the free sales rank estimation tool is useful, the paid plans leave much to be desired. The $5 Scouter plan is affordable but severely limited. And if you’re serious about growing your Amazon FBA business, you’ll need to track far more products than this plan allows.
For basic needs, FBA Toolkit might suffice, but for robust tools and better value, alternatives like Keepa, Tactical Arbitrage, or SellerAmp are worth considering.
